Sanjay Sharma is member of the Bharatiya Janata Party from Rajasthan. He is currently Minister of Forest, Environment & Climate Change, and Science & Technology Department in Government of Rajasthan.

Starting as a regular graduate, Sanjay Sharma got involved in the BJP as the City Treasurer in Alwar City. He later became the District President of Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha in Alwar and then the District President of BJP, Alwar.

Shri. Sanjay Sharma has represented Alwar Urban Constituency as the 15th and 16th Member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.

He was born on 16 February, 1969 in a Brahmin family to Shrimati Tara Sharma and Late Shri Krishna Kumar Sharma. He did his graduation from Rajasthan University. On 19 April 2000, he married Shrimati Babita Sharma and now the couple have two sons – Nikunj and Madhav.
