Sanjay Sharma is member of the Bharatiya Janata Party from Rajasthan. He is currently serving as Minister of Forest, Environment & Climate Change, and Science & Technology Department in Government of Rajasthan.
Starting as a regular graduate, Sanjay Sharma got involved in the BJP as the City Treasurer in Alwar City. He later became the District President of Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha in Alwar and then the District President of BJP, Alwar.
Shri. Sanjay Sharma has represented Alwar Urban Constituency as the 15th and 16th Member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.
Outside politics, he’s known for his simple lifestyle, avoiding VIP treatment, and his love for nature and animals.
He was re-elected as the MLA for the Alwar Urban Constituency in 2023 and is currently serving as the Minister of Forest, Environment & Climate Change, and Science & Technology in the Rajasthan Government.
Sanjay Sharma was elected as the MLA for the Alwar Urban Constituency in 2018, representing the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly for the first time.
He served as District President of Bhartiya Janata Party, Alwar from 2008 to 2018.
He served as District President of Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Alwar, from 1997 to 2004.
He served as District General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Alwar from 1993 to 1997.
Sanjay Sharma joined BJP in 1989. He served as City Treasurer of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Alwar City, from 1989 to 1993.
